Edwards Transport Services began as C. Edwards, Inc., founded by Coy W. Edwards in 1975. From the start, the business ran on honesty, hard work, fairness, and integrity, the same principles that drive it today.
Today, Edwards Transport Services is second-generation owned. Coy’s sons, Kenneth and David Edwards, run the company day to day, keeping the business in the family.
Over five decades, that foundation grew into dedicated and common-carrier service trusted by some of the largest industrial names on the Gulf Coast. As an EPA SmartWay Transport Partner, ETS pairs that reliability with a commitment to cleaner, more efficient transportation.

The beginning
Coy W. Edwards founds C. Edwards, Inc., hauling aggregate across the greater Houston area.
1978
A dedicated fleet
Expansion into a dedicated fleet delivering steel drums for a Houston-area manufacturer throughout the Gulf Coast.
1999
Edwards Transport Services
The company takes on its current name, adding common-carrier and dedicated services.
2016 & 2022
